The Roadstar
This paint job made it possible for me to get some new pipes and catch leaves on fire with them. The tins were painted two-tone with gold as the base and silver as the middle panels. Then I marbleized the silver with a neutral marbleizer which is clear and works with any dry pearls. This was the first time I had ever done it that way and it was kind of cool. Now I have a totally different method for marbleizing which is easier, and cheaper.
Next I shot Kandy Apple Red over the whole thing. Then i trimmed it with some airbrushed metal edges. I was a bit pissed when I saw the bike put back together. I was wishing my bike looked that good. Well that’s how it goes, always working on other peoples bikes, never have time to make mine look good.
