Old School Flames

I’m not really a fan of flames or ghost flames because they are so cliché. But for some reason, I have a soft spot for yellow-to-red flames with blue pinstripes.

The owner of this tank wanted me to paint it first and then he would Kreem Line it. Hell No! (When people try to do things on their own, it usually ends up in disaster.) I told him to line the tank first, then I’ll paint it. Sure enough, it comes back to me with about as much Kreem Liner on the outside as the inside.

Well, I was able to save it and make it look kick ass. Gloss and flat are really cool together because of the opposite textures. I used a flattening agent in the clear for the flat effect and it matches his flat black frame perfectly. I like old school!
