The Hayabusa Pit Bull - BEWARE!

Some bikes will always be bikes, but some transform into flesh and blood! This custom Hayabusa has a beating heart. I met the owner of this bike in a restaurant parking lot. The bike was originally blue and we started talking about paint. It gave me the chills when he said that he wanted to somehow make it look like a pit-bull, because that was what I was thinking when I walked up to him!

The reason he wanted to make it a pit-bull was because of his pipes. It’s the only custom Hayabusa I’ve encountered that “barks”. The bike has air ride, so it “sits” too. Now it needed to look like a dog and Brindle is what we decided on. Many test panels later, we finally had the color and the texture dialed in. Along with the fur, mean amber-brown eyes and sharp gnashers were airbrushed on the front faring to freak out people looking in their mirrors. The headlight and all other lenses were “smoked” with a black licorice Kandy paint to drop down the flash of the chrome.

This bike must be on steroids - it keeps growing with more parts and accessories. Let it be known: if you see this animal running wild in your neighborhood, take a good close look… then RUN!  It hasn’t had its shots.
